To all poutine lovers!!! This is the place to go for the real deal. Hot crunchy french fries, topped with fresh curd cheese (not the traditional cheddar curd). It tastes more like mozzarella cheese when they pour the hot thick dark slightly tangy brown gravy all over the fries and cheese. The price of their poutine is very close to the price that I pay when I am in Canada. Their sandwiches are really cheap and ice cream is good. When you drive into the parking lot you can see that most of the cars are from Quebec. This place can get very busy but it's one of my favorite places to go for poutine.

This place is a dollop of heaven. They have the best soft serve ice cream EVER! I mean EVER! Oh did I mention they have the Canadian staple, Poutine. And it's authentic as well, cheese curds and all! Closed on Mondays and open till 10 every other day, it can get busy but it's definitely worth the wait. Everything other than the Poutine and ice cream is average.

The poutine is not as great as its talked up to be. Just regular fries, with gravy, and some chunky cheese pieces over it. It did not have any wow factor. The onion rings are good, as well as the chili dog. The Ice Cream was very light and yummy. With so many stars from prior reviews, I expected more from flavor.

Dairy belle, I can't say enough good things about this place. If you're looking for something that just reminds you of home, this is your place, especially if you're visiting from the Quebec area. This place is a local Hollywood staple. They are a quick stop on the way to the beach or they are open late when you don't just want fast food. Their pulled chicken sandwich, corndogs, soft serve ice cream and most famously their poutine NEVER disappoint. This joint always hits the spot. I can't recommend it enough!

I'm giving it a 4 because this is the most authentic (or even close to authentic) place I've found for poutine in my 16 years living in South Florida. That said, it isn't perfect. I'll start with the cost: $7 for a small size is steep. Curds must not come cheap, or maybe require importation? Not sure, but the bottom line is that it isn't cheap eats - it's a dollar or 2 more than a complete meal at a fast food joint (with a burger and a drink, not just fries). The small size is about the largest you are going to want to get on a first visit - it may not be huge, but it has a lot of calories. After all, we are talking about what may be the most unhealthy thing to eat on earth - thanks Quebec! I'd recommend you request that they "bury the curds" on your poutine so they melt more fully. Here they were all on top (to show the customer they are there), but they melt much better when sandwiched in the middle of the whole hot mess. My other criticism is that the fries weren't totally cooked (some had that raw flavor, and when you smother fries with gravy, they really should be double-cooked, belgium style for a crispier and more completely cooked base to minimize soggy-ness). I also found a little bit of plastic wrapper still attached to a curd, but I'm not fancy, so I don't really knock them for that. All in all it was very good, best in this area for sure, but comparable to the poutine I buy in a Costco food court in Canada, where it is about $4US.

Be prepared to wait a little There r picnic tables under a canvas top with lots of tables The best soft serve any where period end of story. They also serve a variety of fresh made food. this place is always so busy, been going there for years. the reason it's so busy is simple; the food is AMAZING. My favorite thing to order is the chicken club sandwich with poutine fries and a chocolate banana shake. The chicken club has sliced juicy all white meat chicken, bacon, tomatoes lettuce and mayonaise all on thin toast. The poutine has REAL french fries, brown gravy and the most perfect cheese curds ever. The chocolate banana milk shake? REAL chocolate ice cream and a whole banana goes into the blender. no flavorings, it's the real deal.

I was torn between three and four stars, but decided to go with four because of the uniqueness of this little eatery. First, the basics. It's easy to find. If you have to make a left turn into the parking lot and manage to miss it, you can turn at the corner and go into the back of the lot, so you don't have to go all the way around the block. There is plenty of parking. It's a small place with no indoor seating, but quite a bit of covered patio area. We got there about 5:30 and didn't have any trouble finding a spot. The area is clean and there are vats of mustard, ketchup and mayo in easy access, along with napkins. The staff was friendly and helpful. It took a bit to get our order, but that's because the fries are made fresh. We ordered two medium poutines (one each of the traditional and the Italian) and some chili dogs. When they got to the table, we discovered that just one of the poutines would have been plenty. The hotdog was on the ordinary side. The chili was good, but the dog could have been better. If it had been a kosher dog, it would have been great. This one had a bit of an odd texture, and I wouldn't order it again. The poutine.......now there's something you don't get every day! Just the thought of potatoes and gravy appeals to my southern heritage. I wasn't sure about the twist of the cheese curds, but in general, cheese make nearly everything better. It came to the table steaming hot. The curds had already started to reach melty goodness. I was expecting them to be cheddar, but they were much more similar to mozzarella. The gravy was okay, it didn't taste homemade, but the whole combination was something that I could definitely live with. The more I ate, the more I wanted. Ironically, the Italian was less of a hit, I thought it would be my favorite. The sauce had plenty of meat, but lacked the correct seasoning for a really good sauce. I was surprised to find that they actually reheated pretty well the next night. In spite of being pretty well stuffed, with half of each poutine to bring home, we decided there was one dessert that demanded our attention. We had to try the ice cream "Panini." This was something we'd never seen - a warm brioche bun, stuffed with vanilla soft serve and a choice of chocolate crumbles or apple pie filling. Both of these are said to be imported from Italy. It's fall, we had to have the apples. The whole thing was delectable. The eggy brioche, the creamy richness of the ice cream and the pie filling which was, indeed, different than any I'd had before. My only wish was that there had been more filling. After a full meal, though, one was easily big enough to share. I'll probably never be the same again. I looked at a bowl of mashed potatoes a couple of days later and figured they really needed some cheese curds and gravy. I've been ruined for life.

I'm a Quebecoise and when I had a Poutine craving, and if you don't make it yourself at home - one of the few places to go in Florida is Dairy Belle. We split a medium Poutine, and I ordered a hot dog and my husband got the single cheeseburger. They have sauerkraut for toppings as well as pickles.The French lady taking my order also asked which kinds of pickles I preferred, Dill or Bread and Butter kinds. Coleslaw is extra. The burger patty is that frozen thin kind my husband referred to it as "cafeteria food", had bits of cartilage really unappealing. The Poutine! A good size medium for a Casse Croute , the sauce from powder gravy, the fries frozen kind again but good crispy. Good mozzarella curd cheese, it didn't melt too much because the gravy wasn't hot enough. I called my sister up (she lives in Montreal) and she said it's normal for the cheese to not melt. Overall pretty authentic poutine. The Casse Croutes that sell them in Quebec usually do make their own fries, which in my opinion makes Poutine That much better. Most places do use powder gravy, others have gourmet gravy with wine, and fried pickles -so good. I still need to try the ice cream here!

Poutine!!! Best place in South Florida to get authentic Poutine (with cheese curds done just right). This place is great! But beware, it gets VERY busy and sometimes hard to get seating. The place is owned by a Canadian couple and have brought a little bit of the flair to South Florida. They serve awesome soft serve and great burgers. The burgers are big, first time I came I ordered a double and regretted it immediately. Whenever I am back in town, we always hit up Dairy Belle. Its even a great treat coming home from the beach!

Best soft serve ice cream in the WHOLE WORLD. No joke this place serves the creamiest, lightly sweet vanilla soft serve that beats DQ any day! There might be a line wrapped around this tiny little ice cream shack but it's well worth the wait. Dairy Belle also caters to the Canadian snowbirds serving up hefty platters of poutine. This place is a MUST after a day at the beach- you can even get hamburgers & hot dogs ...has a very mom & pop feel that I adore.

My Canadian friends insisted we come here to try poutine. I had never heard of/tried it before. Evidently it's fries with gravy and cheese curds. I'm a malt vinegar on fries type of girl so this seemed weird. I gave it a go and it's not too bad but not my style. They all RAVED about it though-cleaning their plates and groaning in pleasure the entire time. I had their fries alone and an ice cream cone (the name is DAIRY belle) and both were awesome. The service was fast and kind, and the place is a cute outdoor covered patio not unlike a Dairy Queen. The prices were a tad high but it was worth it and it seems to be a mom and pop operation. 2 big thumbs up-this is a 10 minute or so drive for us, so next time they're in the mood we will likely make the trek over here. Great experience.

Best soft serv by the beach and for a low price as well..I wanted to try something else from this place so when I looked it up on Yelp, lots of reviews said to try the Poutin, a Canadian specialty, and it was pretty good but soooooooo unhealthy. So try it out once but get ready to feel slow and groggy but satisfied after your choice.

I first went to Dairy Belle years ago when a friend asked if I ever had something called "poutine" (which I've never even heard of, and I'll explain in a bit). This prompted a quick trip to this Dania Beach gem. When we pulled up I realized ice driven past this place at least 1,000 times. It's rift off of US1 - you can't miss it (if you're looking for it, haha). The establishment is pretty much a walk-up window style restaurant with tables outside, which are protected from that elements. Don't be surprised (or discouraged) if there's a line going out to the parking lot... It usually moves very quickly. Now back to the poutine... Poutine is basically a fresh pile of french fries covered in a tasty brown gravy with chunks of cheese curds (think... Soft, but chewy cheese) tossed up in this delicious mess. It. Is. Amazing. They have a few variations, but the original is the best. You must try! They also have hotdogs, soft serve I scream, and a bunch of other tasty treats... But I really only go for the poutine. Give it a try!

So I hear that the ice cream is amazing here, but that's not what draws me near. During the Summer months I crave it. During the Winter months I indulge in it. Yes, it is....POUTINE! This delicious dish, which may very well send you to an early grave albeit with a smile on your face, is a gift from our friends to the North. Consisting of a heaping pile of french fries, loads of cheese curds (also known as "squeaky cheese"), and smothered in brown gravy, this dish is a meal all to itself! I have tried poutine at various places in South Florida (never in Montreal I must admit), and to me, this is the best. Here they serve it in three sized, all of which are plenty! There is only outdoor seating, but the family style picnic benches are under a tented patio, so the elements aren't an issue. A favorite for the French-Canandians that infiltrate South Florida during the winter months, there can be a line at times, but I assure you its worth the wait. So get on over there and get some poutine! Maybe you'll be smarter than me and get a size smaller than you should so you can actually try the ice cream too....I haven't be able to yet.

Where did all these Canadians come from? That was basically the first thing I noticed when I came here because the poutine was flying off of the shelves. And I got some. Man, it was good. They have a pretty good variety of stuff and have ice cream too. It's definitely a local hangout and is almost always busy. But that's for a reason. One, because the poutine is really REALLY good, and two, because who doesn't love an old school style diner?

I found out about Dairy Belle when I tried looking for poutine in South Florida. I wasn't very optimistic, I live about as far as you can get in the United States from Canada, but I was pleasantly surprised to find there is ONE place in all of South FL... Except it was still two hours from my house. I was resigned to never being able to go eat there. Until today. And it was awesome. The actual building isn't something flashy and when we first pulled up to it, my mother, who was my traveling companion, looked at me skeptically and asked me if I was sure that was the right place. I was, thankfully, and I was sure about that when I saw a bunch of Quebec license plates in the parking lot. I was lucky enough to get there at a time when it wasn't packed and it was a great experience. You can tell it's a bit of a hang out from the station playing on the PA system, it's french, which isn't something you hear very often in SoFlo so I thought that was a great touch. The associate who greeted me was extremely polite and welcomed me with extra exuberance after I told him that it was my first visit. I ordered a medium traditional poutine to share with my mother (after reading on here that a medium was big enough to share) and two medium mango smoothies. The smoothies were absolutely amazing. They didn't taste like they were filled with sugar, it tasted like they made it with real mango nectar. The poutine itself was delicious, it was everything I'd thought it'd be and more, though I am sad that I didn't get two small ones instead of a medium. If I had, I'd have been able to try the Italian (which the lady who was at the table next to me had and it looked AMAZING). Even so, I loved it and so did my mother, which is something because she's very critical of the food she eats. From the moment she saw the place, she wasn't expecting much from it. The moment she tried the food though, her mind was blown. Overall, the food is great, the place is small and not much to look at but the experience is amazing. The staff are so sweet and polite and the other customers, especially the ones who are regulars and tend to hang out there (As the couple next to me mother and I were), are very nice and friendly. I plan on going back as soon as possible to try the Italian and some of their ice cream!

The hamburger steak poutine was amazing. The curds were squeaky which was awesome. I don't think I've ever had poutine that good. It was a little pricey but I think it was an OK price for the amount of food. The gravy was really good too. I wish they had a coke fountain instead of cans, or served bottles. For fast food, it's great quality and good service. I taste the love they put in the food. It was my first time trying putine and it was delicious. We also had a shake and vanilla ice cream cone dipped in chocolate. My only complaint is that they took out all the different and exotic flavors added to the soft serve.

Forget that the ice cream is delicious, that the steamed hotdogs are cooked wonderfully, and just immerse yourself in the popular food of our great "nation quebecoise". Poutines, galvaudes, hotdogs steames all-dressed, hot chicken, you name it. This is what I grew up with, this is what my parents grew up with, and so should you. Une vraie shack a patates. The slightly cocky bilingual owner will proudly tell you that he gets his curds delivered straight from Wisconsin. With Fort Lauderdale and the thousands of Quebecois snowbirds, he sells for 350 pounds of curds a day. A DAY. 350 pounds. That's a lot of fromage en crottes. The fries are crisp, the gravy is thick, and my stomach is happy. Easily the best poutine I've had in the US (see my list). It's a few minutes from the Fort Lauderdale Airport. It's an easy stop to/from your flight!

This place is definitely a great find for anyone looking for a diamond in the rough. Should you look for a trip to Quebec, though you might not have the means to see it's full beauty, you can always take a shortcut and visit this absolutely quaint spot that I found on a drive to the airport last week. This would take you on a culinary trip as well as a cultural awakening as I would say 90% of the peeps waiting in line were speaking French. The Putin, a tradition for the Quebecoise was to die for.

For those who know what poutine is.... this is the best place in South Florida to get it. If you're a fan of the Quebecois concoction of french fries, brown gravy and cheese curds, the Dairy Belle is the place to go. AND....To my wonderful surprise, they also offer "Italian" poutine, which basically swaps out the brown gravy for some marinara sauce. Although the South Florida weather doesn't justify the caloric intake this dish provides, it is definitely a nice walk down memory lane for someone like me that lived in Montreal for over 5 years. The Dairy Belle other offerings pretty much are equivalent to a DQ stand. Good, inexpensive ice cream products.

If you're a TRUE local, then you know this is the spot for ice cream, not that overly commercialized and expensive Jaxson's down the street (boo!) This place is a small, outdoor ice cream place but what it lacks in flash, it makes up for in delicious ice cream and comfort foods. Get the soft serve, I usually get a twist dipped in chocolate (ohh lawd) I've never had Poutine before trying it here... French fries covered in gravy and cheese curds... sounds healthy, right? This is definitely Elvis approved.. Of course if you're looking for something healthy, you should just eat lettuce and be unhappy. But if you're looking for delicious ice cream, warm and fresh burgers, fries, and hotdogs, then you NEED to try this place out. So cheap, too! Not in quality, but in price.. I spend less than $10 every time I come here and leave 100% satisfied.. A must go after a long beach day. The parking is so/so but during the weekday, it usually isn't TOO packed... worth a short wait though! :)

I adore frozen custard and Dairy Belle's is just creamy perfection. You can jazz it up as a sundae, caramel is my favorite, or as a tornado which is a blizzard type thing. But don't discount a simply twist in a cone. Forget the lines at Jaxsons and head across the street for a perfect treat!

It would seem that this is the only place to get poutine in south Florida. When I used to spend more time in Quebec I felt like this was a poor representation of poutine. (Because the cheese curds aren't very fresh and the fries aren't fresh cut) but these days, I can put those things aside and just enjoy the occasional poutine here when I am in town.

Having lived in Montana (a place my husband affectionately calls "lesser Canada") for a good six years, I know my way around a platter of poutine. I am far from a health nut, but that being said--bowls of fries swimming with gravy? It's not my fav thing. But going to Dairy Belle is like basking in a hot tub of blissful nostalgia. I ordered in French, let the cheese curds melt slowly for a few minutes after they arrived, and devoured the Canadian soul food with a teeny tiny fork. It's hard to find decent poutine anywhere south of the border. The Canadian border. But you can get it at Dairy Belle.

On our way to the airport to pick up a friend we had eaten Mexican food earlier and for some reason I was craving some good soft frozen ice cream. Yay yelp to the rescue, I grab my phone look up nearby places and yes this place was around the corner. It is a small older building with two walk up windows. They have some food items, in which I did not even look at cause all I wanted was some ice cream. It was so nostalgic for me, reminded me of many places in Chicago, just good old neighborhood ice cream parlors with benches on the outside where your entire family would have family time while enjoying ice cream. This night many patrons were here but the line goes very quickly and they are so friendly. Not sure if it is family owned but you get the feeling it is. I ordered a small cherry sundae. They had toppings that I have never seen before like cherry, raspberry, blueberry, well maybe it is just me. Not like we go for ice cream very often. The ice cream was soft and smooth, very good flavor and consistency. My favorite part was how very creamy it was and the cherry topping was delish. Real cherries not fake syrup garbage. Loved my sundae and if I am in the area I would for sure stop in to grab another frozen delight!

I went here yesterday because I heard of how great the poutine was. It's a small establishment with a covered patio for seating, best part was that the breeze was nice and cool. Friend and I got a cheeseburger ($3.25 each) with everything and split a medium poutine ($7.94+tax). The cheeseburgers were about twice the size of a regular fast food burger, nothing incredible but tastier and bigger than what'd you'd normally get at a McDonalds or Burger King. The poutine, delicious. Smothered in brown gravy and big cheese curds I could've eaten just that and been full. The fries soaked up the juice perfectly.

I was in the mood for a good hot dog spot and was pointed in the direction of dairy belle. Of course I checked the reviews on yelp first and discovered there was a favorite I've never heard of, poutine. I got there and ordered my hot dog which I was a little disappointed with. It was small and unappealing, but it's a hot dog and it did it's job at satisfying my craving. I then tried the small poutine (big enough for two to share). It was delish! They didn't skimp on the gravy or the cheese. My only complaint is that the cheese wasn't melty. Chunks of it were colder than room temperature even. Now, this was my first time even hearing of poutine so I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be. Regardless, it was good and I will definitely be back for it! I hope to try the ice cream next time as well...it's safe to say I was way too full for it this trip!

Take it from a Montréal-born New Yorker: This place is tasty! If you are American and aren't familiar with poutine, this is the place. If you stop there and don't order a poutine: you are missing out! 1. The poutine is pretty good. I have had better in Québec, but it is still good. I am always tempted to ask for extra cheese... Maybe I will next time! 2. Ice cream: be adventurous and order a vanilla cone dipped in CHERRY sauce. Trust me on that one. 3. Cheeseburger = yum yum. 4. Forget steamed hot dogs, try the toasted all-dressed. This is how we eat them in Québec :)

All I have to say is I remember coming to this ice cream stand even before it was Dairy Belle. Even as a small child I remember how delicious and creamy the ice cream was and the hot dogs really hit the spot after hours at the beach. This place has been consistently delicious year after year. I haven't tried everything on the menu but I will say I have never been disappointed. I hope they are around for many years to come.

BEST SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM EVER! And the Blizzards?? They make the Dairy Queen look like a Dirty Queen. The place itself is super cute, the staff is very friendly and the ice cream is one of the best i've ever had. If you live in the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood area you MUST try this place!

Trekked up here in the rain just for the poutine, and was very much not disappointed! Ordered a large and split it between four people that were pretty hungry. It was the perfect amount. I was inspired to have a toasted hot dog as well because yolo, and that was also delicious. The bread was so good! Hoping to make the 45-minute drive up again at some point to try their burgers and ice cream. Thank you for existing relatively close to my home, Dairy Belle. Thought I wouldn't be able to have poutine outside of Canada!

Little dives are often the best. I LOVE the chicken sandwich, cooked in the French Canadian style, shredded chicken over a slice of bread, covered in green peas and brown gravy (homemade) with fries. Also great are the hot dogs with their crispy bun. And the caramel sauce on the ice cream, to die for.

Just ate here today for the first time and I had the hot burger and the poutine. Loved it. The poutine (fries smothered with brown gravy and topped with cheese curds) tasted just like mashed potatoes with gravy and the hot burger, which is a burger topped with hot gravy, tasted like an old time diner hamburger.

I have been to Ft. Lauderdale on 3 occasions and passed this place with high hopes of some day stopping to partake. Today,... I did. It's fast food. It's fast. It's food. And they have poutine that's quite pricey. The gravy was fantastic. The fries were crisp and the poutine was as I'd expect out of a bag. I'm sure the cheese is what ups the food cost and the price on this menu item. But, I'd give this place more stars if the small order was closer to $3 than over $5. If I was in desperate need for poutine, I'd come back. Otherwise, I can wait until my next visit to Montreal.

Never heard of this place, but I saw them on Groupon and decided to give them a shot. It was around 12:30 p.m. and I did not have breakfast, so I came here for lunch. My girl and I ordered 2 cheeseburgers and we split a small serving of the talked about poutine. It honestly didn't sound appetizing to us at first (fries, white cheddar cheese curds and brown gravy) but it wasn't bad. $6 for a small serving seemed a bit pricey, but almost everybody was here for the Poutine so it definitely draws people in. It was different, but not in a bad way . . . I would try it again. The burgers were good and very reasonable in price. Canned sodas go for $1.50. They are advertised as an Ice Cream shop, but their menu only has one section for Ice cream. Unfortunately I didn't try the ice cream, but they also seemed a bit pricey on for the single serve cones, but they claim to be fully homeade, so it may be something I try if I'm in the area next time. Seems idea for those just wanting to get a quick cone and enjoy on a chair and table while killing some time. They also have milkshakes, blizzards and sundae's. Plenty of parking. One thing that caught my eye was that they are very "gay friendly". They even have a display for the "gay classifieds" and there were a few couples as well. Nothing wrong with that as everybody seemed to be having a good time, just an FYI for anybody looking for that atmosphere or not looking for that atmosphere. Overall it was nice to stop by there for lunch. Being further south it isn't a place I'm going to crave or go out of my way to visit, but do yourself a favor and stop by if you are in the area and try the poutine and a burger. The lady at the front is real friendly and helpful when deciding on what to order. A little pricey but the food is good and when I meet any French Canadians I can tell them I have tried Poutine lol.

My favorite spot for hot dogs and soft serve ice cream!!!!! They do serve poutine here, of which I hadn't been a fan of, but I learned just today from a Canadian friend that typically the cheese curds are melted into the hot gravy and fries. For some reason I haven't experienced this when I've ordered it here... doesn't matter too much to me though, I love it here!

one can almost pass it by and figure it for a simple roadside ice cream stand and - it would be so wrong! this french canadian outpost serves up (not only) wonderful ice cream and custard treats, but a variety of hot dogs, burgers and sandwiches, fresh onion rings (not frozen) and the french canadian delicacy "poutine", which is simply fench fries smothered in tasty gravy and topped with cheddar curd. the parking lot is usually packed, people lined up for the steak sandwich or chicago hot dogs, corndog or delightful burger sandwiches; try the chicken sandwich poutine! the staff speaks french as well as english and all are charming and courteous, while serving flotas, banana splits and chocolate or strawberry bonnets (custard cones with flavorful dipping). they are planning on replacing the stand with a skymall plaza which will house DB, among other establishments (which I believe is a mistake and it should remain the charming "stand" that it has been for over 50 years). I always stop on the way back from the ft lauderdale airport on when taking a friend or relative to the airport. Prices are reasonable, food a pleasure. also, try the toasted dog. You won't be disappointed and you will never leave hungry!

I really like this joint. I work close and met them through a groupon deal. Have eaten there several times since then. Love their food. Extremely well priced. Hamburgers and Hot dogs very good. The Ice cream soft and creany. Love to sit there and enjoy the breeze as opposed to having lunch in all the near junk food joints, this one feels like a real option. I was forgetting the french fries delicious, and the staff always friendly...and I learned what "poutin" is.

This place was packed with Canadians. I didn't like it at all. The ice cream wasn't that flavorful. I went with 5 other other people, so our choices ranged from shakes to sundaes. It was okay. Jackson's is right up the street and the ice cream is much better there.

Best Poutine in South Florida. If you don't know what Poutine is then you are seriously missing out on one of the greatest French Canadian creations...I'm talking crispy french fries covered in beef gravy and cheese curds. They also make some of the best Geudille you'll find south of Quebec.

Ok so we arrived around 6:45 on Sunday night and waited 30 minutes for our soft serve icecream cones. They soft serve icecream was amazing. Not sure if it was worth the wait for 30 minutes with a line wrapped around the block but I am very glad I finally tried this place. I have been driving past it for years. They also serve food alot of people were getting poutine.This place is closed on Monday I noticed the sign in the window.

Stopped on the way to the airport and found a piece of Quebec located in South Florida. Lots of québécois being thrown around...the real thing. "pur laine" Had the hamburger steak...with a few patties, grilled onions, and gravy with fries. Definitely hit the spot, though would have liked thicker meat patties. I'd go back to try a few other things. Poutine is priced more steep than back home.

If you're looking for poutine, look no further than this place. I'll be honest, the thought of going to an ice cream place for anything other than ice cream kinda grossed me out. It evokes an image of a 3 day old hot dog rotating on the counter of a Baskin Robbins. But this place is actually really good. The poutine here is on point. If you've never had it before, I encourage you to. It's fries topped with gravy and wonderful, melty cheese curds. They also had a lot of interesting hot dogs and burgers. And of course, all the soft serve your heart desires.

This is the best poutine outside of Canada! I was so excited to see that poutine was available in south Florida. Every time I'm in the area I stop by for some to go. The galvaude is amazing! I also tried the burgers which are also good. I'm from Toronto and the poutine here is québécois style and very authentic! Can't wait to go back!

Poutine? The first thing I thought when I walked up: What in the world is poutine? There is a large picture with a description. Poutine is apparently french fries, cheese curd, and brown gravy. This didn't sound very appetizing to me and so I ordered my vanilla with hot fudge. As I was paying the lady I heard shouts of glee and delight behind me from adults and children. They were excited to find poutine. I looked to my right and saw several tables with the poutine; mainly empty plates. I turned to the family that was "oohing" and "ahing" and asked them about Poutine. They said that it is a very popular item in Canada that one would eat as a side. They all scoffed at me as though I should know this. I will try the poutine in the future since my ice cream was good. It wasn't necessarily the ice cream that was good as much as it was the hot fudge. The ice cream is like any other no-name brand of soft serve ice cream. What made it for me was the hot fudge. It wasn't overly hot, it had good fudge flavor, and as it cooled it didn't turn into lumps that stuck to everything. I rather enjoyed the hot fudge. Next time? Poutine and hot fudge, together at last! Just make certain to bring money since they are CASH ONLY.

If you are going for the "dairy" part of this place, you will be sadly disappointed. Soft Serve Ice Cream is not served cold enough that while you are eating very quickly it is dripping everywhere on a 70 degree night. Also just not very good. Lots of people trying it but can't imagine a lot of them return. Well, maybe the ones not ordering the ice cream. Keep driving.

After getting a taste of Poutine in Montreal, I was very excited to learn that this export from Canada had made it to South Florida. Now I am not an expert, and my only comparison is the single meal in Montreal 2 weeks ago. (at which I also "sampled" the poutine dishes of my fellow travelers!) However, this poutine seemed to fall short of the delicious golden bits of potato that I had only a few weeks before. I found the fries not very well done, with the cheese curds oversized and cold and the poutine drowning in gravy. However, the service was really friendly and there was certainly no shortage of French speaking folks (I am assuming Canadians) who appeared to love this stuff and who probably know a heck of a lot more about poutine than I do. Regardless, I can only say that I will probably return for the ice cream, and skip the poutine.

I'm a Montréal native and poutine expert, so believe me when I say Dairy Belle has the best poutine in Florida. Period. I drive 2.5 hours (each way) from the Keys at least once a week to grab a two - one to eat and one for the long drive back. The only thing I don't understand is that they serve Coke instead of Pepsi??? Nice patio to enjoy your food or ice cream. Would love to talk them into showing Habs games several times a week - then I'd be up there even more! Staff is fluent in French and English and always very very friendly. By far my favourite hang out place before/after a show or a day at the beach - I bring all of my Montreal friends there when they come to visit. A+

Poutine!! thats all I have to say. Ok not really but I think it could be enough to say alone. I've been to the Dairy Belle before but only have has the ice cream before. Decided to finally try the food options there and of course it was a must to try out poutine. At first in my mind I was thinking that I wouldnt like the poutine too much as I am not a big fan of gravy, but I was wrong. The gravy was not over powering it went perfectly well with the cheese curds and fries. It was pretty damn good. I also had a toasted hot dog which was really good as well. Next time i'm gonna get a medium poutine and try one of the sandwiches there.

The poutine here is delicious...as delicious as the poutine i had in Canada. I live in miami and i def think about driving up here again so that i can get my poutine fix. They have ice cream and burgers, hot dogs and lots of other fries. The staff is friendly and they were patient with us as we looked over the menu. My friend had a chili dog as well as poutine and he said it was good. We bought a large poutine to split between four people and it was definitely more than enough. We ate most of it. Left behind a couple of fries and curds. Man...writing this review is making me crave it again. I guess i better get dressed and start the drive...
